EtherITSM is licensed per active agent on a monthly or annual subscription. End users (people raising tickets) are always free, on every paid tier — they are not part of the agent count.

Grant

Subject to payment of fees and compliance with the terms of service, Ether-X Ltd grants the customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access EtherITSM for the customer's own internal IT-service-management operations during the subscription term.

Agent count

An "agent" is a user account that can pick up, work, or close a ticket — that is, anyone who appears as an assignee, approver, change manager, or queue lead. Read-only auditors on the free Viewer seat are not agents. End users (people raising tickets) are not agents.

Mix and match

Tier (Free Starter, Essentials, Professional, Business, Enterprise) is set per agent, not per tenant. Mix tiers across the team — your change managers on Professional, your first-line analysts on Essentials, your read-only auditors on free Viewer — and pay only for what each role actually uses.

What you can't do

The licence does not grant the right to resell, sublicense, white-label, or operate EtherITSM as a service to a third party. MSP partners on the Business tier may operate up to five branded customer portals under one billing parent — that's an MSP-tier feature, not a sublicense. For larger reseller arrangements, talk to [email protected].

Acceptable use

The platform is intended for IT service management and adjacent workflows (HR, facilities, finance ticketing) where personal data flowing through tickets is incidental and contractual. It is not intended for processing special-category data at volume; if your use case involves health, biometric, or criminal-record data, talk to security [email protected] first so the deployment can be scoped appropriately.

Audit

Ether-X Ltd reserves the right to verify the agent count once per calendar year on 14 days' notice. Verification is automated against the audit log; it does not involve site visits or access to tenant data.
